Terriers U18 roll past Tide

FOXBORO – Their stay at the 2016 Midget Fall Classic came to an end on Sunday night, but not before the Boston Jr. Terriers U18’s broke through, posting a 5-2 win over the Frozen Tide at Foxboro Sports Center.

Both teams entered the evening contest in search of their first win of the tournament and it was a matter not to be solved until the game’s second half. Each side netting a pair in the opening frame to send the game to the locker room tied 2-2.

Conner and David Gilfillan posted the scores for the Tide, while Andrew McDonough and Jackson Dobek were in the scoring column for the Terriers in the first.

Though the scoring was even in the first, it became lopsided in the second, the Terriers getting on the board three times while holding their opponent scoreless to run away with the victory. Curtis Judd, Danny Ryan and Sean McDonough all notched their first goals of the tournament to secure the 5-2 win.
