Giants U16 topple Huskies, 6-2.

FOXBORO – The U16 95 Giants have been untouched through three games at the 2018 Midget Fall Classic. Their third and most recent tournament victory came on Sunday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center, 6-2, at the expense of the Boston Jr. Huskies (White).

It was a close contest through the opening half, the Giants with just a 2-1 lead over the Huskies at the break. That close game through one, however, became a runaway in the second half, as the Giants dropped four more on their foe, who only managed one more score in the game.

Domenic Rousseau (2G, 1A) and Connor Cohen (1G, 2A) led the Giants attack, while Tyler Shedlok (2G), Brayden Deglamp (1G, 1A) and Robby Dumais (2A) were also each credited with multiple points. Andy Hassey went down as the goaltender of record for the victors.

Declan McCarthy and Cornelius Corcoran were each credited with a goal for the Huskies.
