FOXBORO – The final New England Pro-Am Hockey tournament of the year is underway, the 95 Giants U16 scoring the first win of the 2016 Midget Fall Classic by defeating Boch Militia U16 4-1 at Foxboro Sports Center.
The Giants did their damage early and late against Boch on their way to victory. Just 12-seconds into the contest they were on the board for a 1-0 advantage. An advantage that lasted until they doubled it just 1:18 before intermission.
A similar script was performed in the game’s second half as the Giants ran their lead to 4-0; goals scored 1:38 into the second half and then with 1:03 remaining.
The contest was all but over, but Boch still made their mark by breaking up the Giants shutout. Kevin Craig and Finn Walker combining for the goal at 24:07 of the second half to bring the game’s score to its 4-1 final.
